Our project was born from the encounter with Maria Mauri, an Italian active in volunteering in Zambia for some years. His stories and photographs excite us at every meeting. Thus the desire to meet the needs of an unfortunate population living in a state where life expectancy reaches 45 years and where half the population dies of AIDS, malaria and deadly infectious diseases. Here it is above all the children who are the most defenceless, often orphans with no possibility of looking to a serene future.
Schooling is a very important stage in everyone’s life.
It is more so in Africa, where it is even indispensable to escape from poverty.
